This is a really rare Dartmouth Mantle Vase. The design is not included in the Dartmouth Pottery Mould Numbers list and has not been allocated a name. It is a lovely big chunky vase, similar in bulk to the largest of the ‘London’ shape of vase. Perfect for really large designs.

The vase has some crazing inside, no chips and no cracks. Because of the matt glaze there are signs of wear on the outside including scratches and 2 marks that appear to be in the glaze. There are various marks on the inside from previous mechanics and from water use. There are also what look like glaze tide marks in grey on the inside.
