This is a really unusual Bretby vase. The mould number (17) makes us think this was part of a separate range during the early 20th Century. It may be part of a studio range sparked off by Fulham Pottery’s success with Constance Spry’s vases. It has a real arts and crafts feel to it and resembles many of the Brannam pots of that era.
