This is a really unusual lamp base made in the form of a mantle vase by Chesterfield based Pearsons in the 1930s. This was probably inspired by the popular Coralie lamps made by the Fulham Pottery.
The original light fitting which is included as it is part of the history but is not functional is made from bakelite. A new lamp fitting and flex is easy to source from amazon. This is a lovely heavy piece.
