This is a lovely studio pottery ikebana vase, probably from the 1960s or 1970s with a rough surface like a coarse sand or even crushed brick and a matt dark taupe internal glaze. It is reminiscent of Clive Brooker’s work but not his usual surface texture and is not signed so we are assuming it is not by him. It makes a great display piece or is fully functional for arranging ikebana designs.
