This is a rare, stunning Italian style icon. It oozes mid century glamour. It was made by SICAS (Società Italiana Ceramica Artistica Sestese) a Florentine pottery who produceed from 1945 to the 1970s. They were known for their extremely sleek lustre ware.

Wear and marks to gilding, both top corners worn, glaze flaw on body, spray drift on body from the black lustre.
