This is a really rare piece in a silver metallic glaze. It was made by Norfolk Pottery under the Royal Norfolk range name in Stoke on Trent. If you collect Royal Winton this is the forerunner of it. The Norfolk Pottery was taken over by Taunton Vale who renamed these wares as Royal Winton from 1974 onwards and produced them in gold metallic.

The colour is hard to capture because of the reflection but it is a clear silver rather than the deeper pewter metallic.
