This is a really good sized double opening ikebana dish. There is no makers mark but it appears to be 1970’s English production, possibly Beswick?

The glaze is a lovely satin olivey brown and around the lower opening a lovely slightly iridescent effect has been created.

There is space in the top for a kenzan and also in the lower part of the vase. It has a slight line around it near the top where the top section has been joined to the main body.

It also would work really well just as a sculptural piece.
